Young Investigator Award
As an important part of the Scientific Program, the ASPR 2010 Congress will confer
“ASPR 2010 Young Investigator Award, YIA” as to discover and support those who are doing or had done a better research work in the field of Pediatrics. The application is available to anyone fulfilling the following criteria, without geographical restrictions! The Scientific Committee will select a number of recipients based on the excellent and outstanding quality of the accepted abstract and the award laureate will receive a cash prize of NTD$ 30,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be under and including the age of 45 in the congress year
Clear copy of ID indicating date of birth is to be sent to the Congress Secretariat, either by e-mail:

- Submitted an abstract for the congress by December 20, 2009. The paper must be original material that has not been previously published prior to the Congress. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
- The award laureates MUST be the first author of the abstract and have to present either an oral or poster at the congress themselves.
- Applicants that do not conform to above terms will automatically be declined.
Application and Acceptance Instructions
The abstracts for the competition have to be sent through the regular congress submission system. When submitting their abstracts to the congress, candidates have to confirm that they want to participate in the competition. If you are eligible for Young Investigator Award and wish to apply, please select “I apply for YIA” when submit the abstract through the conference Web site.
The organizers will email an acceptance notice and will publish successful applicants’ names on our web page and send by January 20, 2010. Once an acceptance notice is received, candidates must immediately register (payment at the time is essential) and be able to attend the full congress.
Terms and Condition
The Scientific Committees reserve the right to
- Rescind the award from award laureates who do not attend the full ASPR 2010 Congress in person.
- Make no award if no suitable application is received.
- Amend the terms and conditions of the Young Investigator Award without notice.
